本賞は、世界中の学生発表の中から、技術的独創性・完成度・社会的インパクトを兼ね備えた数件にのみ授与される名誉ある賞である。

また本研究は、SID発行の学術雑誌「Journal of Society for Information Display」(Impact factor : 2.1)のSpecial Sectionにも掲載済みである。
