A joint research group among Yamagata University (Faculty of Engineering), Yamagata Prefectural Yonezawa University of Nutrition Sciences, Takahata Electronics Corp and Seoul Women's University (South Korea) conducted experiments on mice to find out how light stimulation entering an eye gave effect on cranial nerve, and summarized the research findings that OLED lighting had the lowest stress. Compared with LED, the stress from OLED was 50%.
