Yamagata University and ND Softeware Co., Ltd. (Nanyo city) jointly developed a sheet-like sensor used for nursing care watching. This sensor whose thickness is 0.5mm can be lain under the mattress without any uncomfortable feeling, and can be utilized as a watching system to measure heartbeat and respiration for aged person facilities. Yamagata University-originated start-up venture Future Ink manufactures the sheet, and ND Software constructs the system. It is said that it will begin selling within October.
