Yamagata University displayed transmission type solar cell panel trial products being jointly developed with ITO Electronic Co., Ltd. (Sagae City) in Tokyo. Opinions from the people who visit this exhibition could accelerate our research and development, Professor Takeshi SANO said.

Yamagata University is aiming the practical use of thin and light transmission type solar cell panel basing on the technology cultivated by OLED research. It could be expected to apply to "Smart Solar Window", which can generate electricity by absorbing ultraviolet ray and near-infrared ray in near future.
