Yamagata University released on May, 23 that Professor Takeshi SANO's research group developed new technology enable to heighten the conversion efficiency from the sun into electricity for "Perovskite Solar Cell", which is thin flexible and expected to be next-generation solar cell. Through a new coating manufacturing method on plastic film under 150 degree, it is possible to get more than 20% conversion efficiency with the utilization of new materials, while currently 17%~19% is the limitation.
