Yamagata University released on January, 17 that Associate Professor Yoshiyuki SUZURI's research group has developed bendable OLED panel using glass substrate. Compared with film type bendable OLED panel, it has high durability and low cost. As bendable panel has the possibility of demand for on-vehicle display market, large-sized panels are going to be manufactured in near future, and are expected to be commercialized by 2021.
