A presentation of new electromotive agricultural equipments developed by Yamabiko Corporation (Ome City, Tokyo) with the cooperation of Yamagata University and Iide Town was held on Oct, 29 at xEV Iide Research Center (Iide Town). Compared with conventional engine type, the new equipments have same power, and are easy to operate without noise and vibration.
This time chain saw, bush cutter etc. 4 models mounted with lithium ion battery have been developed. Yamagata University verified the lithium ion battery performance, and around 30 local farmers participated in the demonstration test and expressed their opinions.
