Yamagata University launched "Soft 3D Co-Creation Consortium" to promote products manufacturing utilizing 3D printer technology on April, 6. 20 companies such as material manufacturer has participated in this consortium and it is possible to develop products in 6 fields including food, robot etc. with the cooperation of domestic and foreign researchers. The consortium is collaborated by different type of industries, which is a distinctive feature that can manufacture revolutionary products in short period though is impossible currently, aiming to be one of large R&D centers of Yamagata University.
