Yamagata University will establish a collaborative organization including many fields on April, aiming to create new industries and innovative technologies utilized 3D printer technology. This university is going to set up a group with nationwide scale involving private companies, and try to widen application range in entire manufacturing industry, though currently the research is mainly applied to food development.

The new organization was named "Soft 3D Co-Creation Consortium".
